How many units do you have and what size are they?
We have 600+ units in many convenient sizes. Check the reservations page for sizes and rates.

What are your hours?
Our gate and office hours are Monday – Saturday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sundays 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. We are closed on major holidays.
Can you help answer questions about storage problems, storage supplies, movers, truck rentals, etc.?
Our expert staff is here to help solve all your storage problems. We can tell you the most efficient and secure methods to store your property as well as recommend movers and places to purchase your storage supplies.
What are my actual move-in costs?
First month’s rent. We do have occasional move-in specials and will always attempt to meet any competitors’ prices. Visit the specials page for current deals or call the office at (916) 483-2977 for possible additional specials. Once you move in, your rental agreement is on a month-to-month basis.
Tell me about security at Longview Self Storage?
Our managers live onsite and only YOU have the key to your unit.
Do I need insurance for my stored property?
Check with your homeowner’s or renter’s insurance to see if your stored property is covered by your policy. If you find that you do want insurance, we can provide you the name of an insurance carrier that specializes in self storage.
What can’t I store at Longview Self Storage?
Common sense and state laws determine what can be stored. Since you alone have access to your space, do not store anything that needs a controlled environment. This would include live animals and plants, explosive or flammable items, toxic materials, food, or liquids. Do not tempt unwanted critters with food, candles, dried flowers or your favorite sweater.
How do I prevent damage from pests?
We use an exterminator who inspects and services our facility on a regular basis. Our staff can also provide you with specific packing tips to ensure that your stored property is not damaged.
